Publicly Realating

So I stood in the security line at the airport for an hour, got sent through the machine that hits you with those air jets like the carnival fun house, and couldn't even get on the airline web site to change my tickets so I could go watch Ronaldo, Beckham, and Van Nistlerooy becaus of the plane cancelations and delays...And it was timed for a Bush PR stunt effect?

I'm pissed!

...U.S. and British authorities had a significant disagreement over when to move in on the suspects in the alleged plot to bring down trans-Atlantic airliners bound for the United States.

A senior British official knowledgeable about the case said British police were planning to continue to run surveillance for at least another week to try to obtain more evidence, while American officials pressured them to arrest the suspects sooner. ..

In contrast to previous reports, the official suggested an attack was not imminent, saying the suspects had not yet purchased any airline tickets. In fact, some did not even have passports.

"In contrast to previous reports"...that's PR short for "They Lied!"

I want to know what really happened that we were misdirected from? Our kids were still getting killed in Iraq and Greenland is melting three times as fast as we thought. Nothing big, eh? Just the normal incompetency and the end of our world as we know it.
