The latest Gallup poll shows Americans feeling very strongly that we will never reach the goal of a stable democracy in Iraq, but a slight majority think we did not blunder by going to war.
Only 37% of Americans think we will achieve our goal in Iraq and 51% believe that President Bush "deliberately misled" the public about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, and yet 54% believe President Bush to be honest and trustworthy.
Of the people who believe Bush lied...20% find him to be "honest".
Morons!
These folks deserve George W. Bush and his fascist cronies as their President...but what about the rest of us? Democracy can't be built on lies.
