Fairfax

You folks will get some relief from my rants for a few days while I attend a Board meeeting near DC. So far it looks like the Jim Webb signs are in yards and the George Allen signs are in the right of way. That seems to say sonething about the Virginia Senate Race.

Speaking of race...

The best Corker ad parody is this one. It's all about the Head of the Republican National Party who is riding around on Bob Corker's bus sitting next Bob while claiming not to have co-ordinated their negative ads with the Corker campaign. Why that would be illegal...Yeah, Right!

From our "Well, Duh!" Departmemt:

A former White House spokesman warns that oil prices may be "jacked up" by the Saudis and U.S. oil company executives after the election...

The Bush Iraq policy is a failure. I believe it's called the "Sit Still and Die" policy. Bush's close personal friends think he's toast in Iraq:

The question in Iraq is not "if the US succeeds - it has failed by every single measure that you can think of," said Obaid, private security and energy advisor to the Saudi ambassador to Washington, Prince Turki al-Faisal.

The Thai restaurant was pretty good last night...looks like Indonesian tonight. I don't have a clue what to get.

Peace,

Steve
