Hey Unk!

The Associated Press

Tuesday 26 July 2005

Washington - Senate Republicans on Tuesday moved the National Rifle Association's top priority ahead of a $491 billion defense bill, setting up a vote on legislation to shield firearms manufacturers and dealers from lawsuits over gun crimes.

Peace,

Steve

Unlike what you said, that statement is, while not perfect, factually correct assuming by gun crimes they mean crimes committed by third parties and not the manufacturer's and dealers.

  2. Unk,

I'll stand by my first comment and we'll just disagree...But!

I think you've gone to some trouble to miss the point of what I said...Congress has the priorities screwed up. How can Blocking legal actions against gun manufacturers be more important than dealing with the issues that face our troops in times of war?

For goodness sakes, can't we even get their paychecks right?
