The Price of War

....the airline placed Private Eisenhauer's coffin in a cargo warehouse with crates and boxes stacked high around it. There was no ceremony, no flag over the coffin.

  1. Whew! Thought you might have been wiped out -- if only in the electric power sense -- by the storms last night!

    The callousness with which these kids have been treated is appalling. Not the first time I've seen accounts like that. I associate callousness with selfishness and narcissism, and in that regard recommend this interesting post.
